500 volt 120 amp quick charger

There is a new quick charger at the Arena parking lot on Voght street. The 500 volt 120 amp charger was put in place by Hub electric last week and the worker thought it would be in service this week.

Three new, one year term BC Youth Ambassadors were chosen to represent the province on Saturday night. Casey Helgason from Kamloops, Lauren Sherwood from Ossoyoos and Camella Vokey from Penticton, all became ambassadors at the conclusion of the three day event at the Merritt Civic Center.

Bailey Allen a former  BC Ambassador from Merritt worked as judge for the first time.

Aboriginal Day is coming next month and the posters and preparations are under way. June 21st at Rotary Park, here in Merritt will see dancers and traditional dress for 5 hours; 11 am to $ PM .The day is a national observance but not a statutory holiday.
