Friday is the last day to get your HST question down to a Government access center to vote in the mail in query. The day was changed because of the postal strike and the date had been July 22. They made that the last day to register and The August 5th day the last to vote. The envelope says- received by dates that’s different then the posted by date that was legal for business mail. The government has its own bag service between ministry’s that involves a courier. So get that ballot to them by quiting time tomorrow if you want your opinion considered for the referendum.
Voting yes means that you do not want the HST at 10 percent, you want the old GST and PST at 12. No means you want the HST and they will change the rate to 10 percent.
