The Walk of Stars and the Country Music Hall of Fame (Canada) had their Gala on the weekend. Officials with the inducting committee from Toronto where on had to sign enabling documents with the Local walk of Stars committee according to WOS official Peter Moyes.

The hall of fame was open on the weekend with a lunch table and celebs on hand to celebrate .On hand was long time Provincial MLA Harry Lali and Country Music Stars such as Lee Dinwoodie, who provided background music from the South East corner of the building.He aslo had an album out 25 years, 25 songs on display. The cover highlighted a photo of a his hand print in the local walk of stars walk about Merritt.

Michelle Wright was the headliner and was mingling at the hall of fame opening with all interested.
