The Nicola Valley Institute of TEchnology is having its first class today in its 30th year of operation.
The School was the vision of local Grand Chief Gordon Antoine and is succesful to the point of having a Campus in Vancouver as well. The school offers university transfer courses as well as technology.Current Forestry employee B J Moore credits the school for listening to his plans and helping to make sure of his success in the employment world.
Nvit is on Belshaw avenue in Merritt at the top of the hill, Eagles point campus.
