All that remains of the Kengard Apartments.

The Kengard apartment building on Merritt Avenue was torn down after a fire earlier this year, leaving a pile of broken foundation blocks.

On this Day: June 7th 1975

I always said the people that were burned out were the strongest in the community ! I saw many of them working daily and not asking for much. wow. some of them had another dwelling in two months or less good for them I have nothing but admiration for all. thanks. giblert Isaac.
