All stats are based on May 11th date..

You should have gotten your 2021Census form by now, the worker would have placed on your door or mail box. The kit has a 16 digit number for a User name and you can use it to go on line and fill out the form. When the basic data is entered in the program it will ask you to continue or create a password .,If you create a password you can come back until the 18th of May if not it will be submitted as is.

Every five years the law says we need to be counted ( for transfers from government ) Stats Canada , demographics and other bean counting activities. One of the uses of census is the ability to put statistics in context with other relative numbers, so they make some kind of realistic understanding. Like below.
