World Otter Day Date in the current year: May 31, 2023
World Otter Day is celebrated annually on the last Wednesday of May. It was created to raise awareness of the conservation status of otters since more than half of all extant otter species are classified as threatened by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Otters are carnivorous mammals that form the subfamily Lutrinae of the family Mustelidae, which also includes badgers, ferrets, wolverines, martens, polecats, weasels, minks, and ermines, among other animals. There are 13 extant otters species that are all semiaquatic, aquatic, or marine. These cute, playful animals play an important role in ecosystems because their position as top predators helps prevent overpopulation of invertebrates and preserve kelp forests.

At this time Global TV news is saying that the NDP didn’t get enough of a start in their strong area of Edmonton, this makes it unlikely and that they will be able to form a government. Global is also saying that some cabinet ministers will be losing their jobs not being able to get the confidence of the electorate to be reelected.
Media calling it a UCP election win.
Opinion: We at PR believe that this is a good election outcome, and with the two leaders strongly mandated with public popular vote both the premier and the leader of the loyal opposition standing a good place and to increase and win back some of the quality of life that people Alberta and Canada deserve.

Obviously the only way that Hunter gathering and local gardening would satisfy 8 billion stomachs is if they hunted each other. And I think it’s agreed we should quit doing that.
