Days flow to weeks.

How to explain,

Life’s mortal pain?

Then to put on mask,

by God’s refrain and task.

Minions and host to work.

Civilized; tightened by torque.

Moral authority to boast,

Honour at end the host.

Feet of clay does bind.

Hope to Earth reclined.

Joy gives way…

Grieve to stay.
