The Berlin wall is started to be removed.

Helmut came from Germany and as a boy traded 5 eggs for a pair of shoes to come across the barrier that was to be the Berlin wall. He had a second hand business in Merritt for a time and had made a livelihood as a stone mason building fire places it Whistler BC. He had said that he had worked for a former PM Mr Trudeau and The Sinclair’s at that alpine resort town in BC.
He liked to by crystal wine glasses because of a memory of Russian troops using them and throwing them it fireplaces after a toast.
Helmut passed from this life earlier this year and is survived by A wife in West bank and a son and Daughter.
