This file picture from last year shows a low tech fingerprint collection. The collection is going on within 50 feet of new red light cameras installed with new street lights. They may have tought that with all the debit and credit card transactions their heavy labour may not have been worth the effort or risk.
The low tech policing in front of the new cameras seems exaggerated. To any that care. Since the Province had begun a pilot project in 5 communities to see if cameras in downtown cores relived the crime rate, and here was not one of them.
No one caught as yet ,that we are aware of; one might wonder how much time the police are spending.
The new coalition government in England has recently promised to oust camera surveillance to some degree there. A good balance to the artificial creation of life in the papers, reported by the Vancouver Sun. Life from DNA recipes activated from recipes stored in researchers computers.
