The local Toastmasters club boasts Jon Peachey as getting his competent communicator certificate. Jon is a member of the club for two years and is currently VP membership.

A Competent Communicator, completes 10 speech projects on their own schedule and personal development goals. The accomplishment gives the club a point in the distinguished club program.

A Competent Communicator, ten projects in the Toastmasters Communication Course was achieved by Jon Peachey last evening at the regular scheduled weekly meeting.  Jon has been a member of the local club for two years, Is a rancher and small airplane pilot.

Merritt Toastmasters club meets weekly at 1691 Garcia Street, in Merritt.

The Area Governor and delegation visited Merritt Toastmasters club last evening.Shirley Boxrud is area 35 district 21 of Toastmasters International. It was her official fall visit.

The delegation participated in the meeting and gave the general evaluation.

After completing a report on the distinguished club program goals the delegation left for home in Kamloops with a recommendation for a good restaurant.
