The weekend saw Christy Clark wining the leadership convention for the liberals in Vancouver. Christy a former minister for advanced education in the BC cabinet is without a seat. Talk is of her running in a by-election. She supported a number of issues that the party had trouble with. Such as HST referendum date change and inquiry’s in to troubled court actions. We in our view think that now that she is the leader she should clean house and move us forward leaving that baggage behind it’s the only way to show there is a real power change and make the party presentable for the next election.

Local liberals from Merritt attended the convention and Clark visited our small community on her bid for the leadership lots of luck and change, going forward.
