pool upgrade

 The public pool is down for an upgrade the amount of moisture in the air from leaky pipes made it very difficult to safeguard electronics at  the desk and office. The upgrade is being paid for  in part by Federal ( every job counts stimulus funding ) government public works programs.

King Henry the fifth dies of dysentery while in France. Henry the sixth becomes King of England  at age 9 months.

This is another road improvement

This sign is on the 2000 block of Granite Avenue, in Merritt and within the last two weeks went up without an announcement. It occupies the fence of another Government funded project  the Olympic Legacy  Plaza , we think  its a continuation that involves the street and downtown revitalization.
