There were 4 cases of a UK variation of the virus in the CMO’s report Thursday…

The province is considering restricting travel from other parts of Canada at this time. Mobility rights are a basic right kept in our basic law including Medical services mobility rights to quality health care. There is a 15 percent approved decrease in ICBC rates coming May 1st 2021.

Ambulance services are heavily subsided for BC care card carrying residents. The charge for non resident helicopter service is about $3000 an hr.

All medically needed health care is provided to all Canadians anywhere in Canada by the Canada Health act. Extended health insurance can be bought from private companies including ambulance services.

Police helicopter

The area of town about the tourist info booth was busy with police presence this morning at  about 9:30. Constable Tammy  and at least 3 others were walking about looking in garbage cans and  taking notes. An unconfirmed source said that some one had been running. A police helicopter was later noted as being aloft. The police were tight lipped offering little engagement  to passers by. No barriers were up and it dissipated without sirens with in about an hour. A fire fighting crew  was noted as having lunch in the local subway that had been part of the subdued but note able police action.

The helicopter may have been un related.EN
