To the seasons of life
Merritt BC experienced a quick run off beginning in the 1st week of May. High water and dry conditions see a high forest fire hazard in the local woods at this writing.
The holiday weekend saw a break in the river levels giving some relief to sand bagging efforts.

Star wars is released in theaters.
Friday March 12th 2017, saw road closure on Garcia St File Photo KDG
Run off caused high levels of water in the valley with sandbagging on 2nd avenue and Garcia Street. Work still in progress for some. However the Voght street bridge was reopened after midnight on the 16th.
