Today in History March 5th 1923:
Nevada and Montana pass first old age pension plan in US 25 dollars a month (they didn’t say which month), four years before Canada’s first at 20 dollars for 20 resident British Subjects over 70 years old, with a strict means test.
Correction that should read 20 year resident British Subjects./Or should it?.
