Public works; the city is doing a water and sewer line replacement on Chapman Street north of Nicola by the Civic Center, and going right on first avenue to Voght. There is also according to a source two alleys getting sewer lines because the service from old subdivided lots goes through the alleys. Meaning that they can’t get the home owners to pay for their part going to lines put in the street.

A crew member says they will be working till about the end of October.
