The May 9th Provincial General Election with all eighty eight poles reporting in Fraser Nicola and gave the seat to incumbent Jackie Tegart of Ashcroft.

Results: 2336 Green, 573 Henshaw, 5,475 Lali, Tegart 6181. Total votes counted 14,565, rejected 24 for total of 14,589.

The count does not meet the threshold of 100 difference to have an automatic recount. All absentee ballets need to be counted by May 22.

Polls Open

The polling place for the Merritt City council opened at 8:am this morning for advanced polling. Located in the lower half of Merritt City Hall  2158 Voght Street the polls are open till 8PM

There will be another advanced polling opportunity next Wednesday February 19th.
