People and birds are weary of winter here in the south central part of BC. Even though its the shortest winter since the thirteenth century ending on March 20th.

The forecast is calling for a 50% chance of serious snowfall starting this morning. Warmer temperatures will revert to near double digits minus C by Saturday.
Comments by people range from distaste for winter to its ok I was in Mexico for a month.

It’s very pleasant outside now in the mid teens and overcast. The forecast for the next few days is for the same and the long weekend is being called for as sunny. Summer is on its way out once again and people will be looking forward to the handle of another winter in their age. September and October can be glorious around here. With Irene dissipated on the east coast we can hope for a year of relief from catastrophic weather damage we hope .Remember the season for hurricanes goes well into November .
