Meeting held November 21st , a side note: local firefighter and first Nation. Coldwater band member Harold Spahan was asked and presented a bit of an introduction to his presence and work in the local wildfire fighting fray.

November 21 2024 A presentation on wildfires past present and future.

The Nicola Naturalist Society presents in the lecture theater at the Nicola Valley institute of technology 7:00 p.m. on most third Thursdays.

There’s free parking in the parking lot. No food or drinks please. In the auditorium the naturalists are fond of saying everyone welcome membership or donations requested.

There is a draw for donated items after break, tickets available at the door. All proceeds are used as a bursary for an nvit student.
