Thirty one animal and environment interactions representing a month of your attention.

The mission of World Animal Day, is “To raise the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe. Building the celebration of World Animal Day unites the animal welfare movement, mobilising it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals. It’s celebrated in different ways in every country, irrespective of nationality, religion, faith or political ideology. Through increased awareness and education we can create a world where animals are always recognised as sentient beings and full regard is always paid to their welfare source wikipedia

Today October 4th is World Animal Day. In Canada, there are many organizations that promote the welfare of animals, one being the protection:  World animal protection .

“end their pain and suffering” is a clarion call to those that care. We demonstrate what we are by the way we treat those in our power. so today think about those that are in your reach. In BC a fire season  this summer may have had a negative effect on creatures and not withstanding the habituation of bears you can make a small difference in birds and small creatures habitat , standing against poaching and exotic pet trade and escape as well as many other points of action..
