TGIF- Eat liver

I believe this man.

As Dr B has said that belief that liver is full of toxins is spurious, spurious and untrue.

He also says that vitamin is enhanced by the liver’s vitimin make up when consumed.

There is advise about artificial vitamin use and the benefits of looking at the labeling when you do buy vitamin supplements to see that they are food sourced.

There does remain a caution about eating liver too often.

Friday October 1st the Nicola Valley Arts Center is hosting the artists from the Merritt Naturally Show. Between the hours of 4 and 7 PM, hear the artists stories and techniques.

The Arts center is at the corner of Voght and Nicola in Merritt BC, Canada. The pair are being billed as knowledgeable photographers and will answer questions..

The music in the park completed its schedule last Thursday with Amanda Lamothe and her Indigenous story telling show. Next summer we are hopeful for better conditions.

Deer season and ruffled grouse ( Id be ruffled if there was open season on me)!: start open season mid August in some areas. However limited entry draws were drawn in mid June and may still be of use during emergency wildfire activities. The best laymen advise we have is to stay out the bush.

The people of Ponderosa sports in Merritt have knowledge and will ML tell you to check the guide and Covid-19 restrictions on line as well as emergency conditions. Its common sense that putting yourself or workers in unnecessary danger can be a lot of trouble.

Beautiful harvest moon.

October 24th will see the Moon in full and will be called a hunters Moon. Cloudy skies are possible for the 23 and 24th in Merritt however Lethbridge Alberta is clear and cool. Hunting  should be good however remember moon light or not it is not legal to use a firearm a 1 hour before sunset and one hour  sunrise.

Some creatures can be taken after dark including deer, by bow, local conditions and regulations apply.  BC guide

If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, look for the moon to be bright and full-looking for several nights beginning around October 23 or 24. Around all of these nights, you’ll see a bright round moon in your sky, rising around the time of sunset, highest in the middle of the night. source Earth Sky News
