This view is of the highlands off Hyway 5 A in Merritt , less than 2 decades ago they came out of crown lands and into the city, should be a significant increase in the ability to expand the tax civic tax base. The tax base was quite heavily dependent on heavy industry such as a large sawmill in the city limits. this cosmopolitan mis of malls and light industry and service is a great boon for the lifestyle of the city.
There is a lot of land between this and the sky that is low-grade agricultural and some rezoning attempts to make smaller plots with restrictive covenants for hobby farms more or less failed recently. However the website sign is still visible in the style of “hollywood”.
