New town square lit up at nite with tree…

A source says that 20 cats were located to a society on the Island… The feral cats have been located to a store front and the heritage site out buildings removed leaving the house and store , most of the remaining china town, resulting from  the Chinese Exclusion Act are gone this and the laundry next door remain here.

This is not a mostache, the owner says its to limit windshield damage to other vehicles.

Some people take new snow off roof ,maybe because of leaks maybe because of weight . however around here its probably going to be gone in a few short days.

This new business seems poetic , I wonder if they are competent,as proven chains…..

This woman is trapping cats for  relocation. She is from Gibsons BC and is trapping ferial cats in an heritage building that is to be tore down in part for the cats proliferation; as well as other hazards .The main buildings remain however the outbuildings are toast.

I wonder if they all survived relocation….

 Hidden in plain view up a little clay gully off Vought Street and just up from the Police Station is a root cellar.

They were used before modern ways of storing as a cool dry place for perishables and canning…

This one has survived and is just down from a modern single family dwelling.
