Its National Occult Day in 2020 and should we be afraid of the witches’ sabbath on that date?

History

To begin with, where did that mystic thing come from?

In fact, the orthodox church assumes that the occult appeared right at the moment when the Fall happened. Influenced by the Serpent, Eve bit into a forbidden apple longing for getting a special knowledge. The mistake of the first people hid in their perception of the tree from Eden as some mysterious symbol which could give the power over the whole world. The Fall was the beginning of the occult and magic practices and opened the search for the arcane knowledge.

Merritt is a very active place here after November 27th the countdown to Christmas starts then and a parade and midnight madness event starts it off. The local FM station has contests for home town shopping, and merchants try to establish their business success for the next year around the season. The local library is offering a 1000 dollars  in a contest that ends on November 26th.  The efforts that go into Christmas here are exceptional and sometimes quite heart warming.

The digital money company swag bucks are offering a Christmas preview sale for online shopping that ends on November 26th 20% off and 8 swag bucks ( 8 cents or eight percent) for every dollar spent on-line at Macy’s. The good will of the season is out there and is a significant value even for those involved in Christmas selling.

Q 101 is offering a draw for 1500 dollars in a home town shopping spree, ending December 9th..

The scenery can be very homey with snow-covered hills and a hush of the past looking to a new year.

Safety meeting: IBEW

The meeting room of the local Coldwater Hotel was occupied by members of the IBEW yesterday morning. A member of the group outside for a break said that they were having a safety meeting. When asked ” high visibility concerns ” he didn’t disagree”.

The member said they were involved in the 500 KV line to the lower-mainland. When asked if a tower that had fallen some months ago in the Lundbom lake area was still on the ground he said ” I think that’s been cleaned up now. A separate source at a different time had said that it collapsed when it went to be plumbed. He also said that the towers are heavier gauge steel then in the past. Another source had shown us pictures of the tower on the ground in recent weeks.

The 3rd 500 kv line to the lower mainland is substantially following the existing line to lessen environmental impact.

The pads for the towers are being put in by the company Flatiron represented by the Christian labourers union the towers by Hydro its self with its bargaining unit IBEW.
