Gasoline at the local Petro Canada are under a dollar a liter. 98 cents are a lot better but not as good as prices under 80 cents in some prairie provinces.

The price of gasoline has dropped once again as the Petro Canada station at the junction of 5A, 97C and highway 8 is selling regular gas at $1.27.9 down one cent a liter from last week.
A motorist was queried about his use of the premium grade gasoline at a shell outlet this week ” My new taurus requires it” ” I don’t get the power or mileage with the lower grades.” The man said, he also related experience in the trucking industry in the US.

The summer driving season usually lasts from May to September. The 5 electric charge stations at least 4 of them are confirmed to be free of charge for recharge .
Merritt BC is in the center of 4 major highways going into the interior of the province and is about an hour drive to significant community’s as Kelowna and Kamloops.

Their poster invited people to bring hotdogs, kids, best cheers and smiles.

Editors note BP the huge oil company is reported to have received a multi billion dollar fine recently,this may add insult to injury if gas prices are artificially manipulated to accommodate the fine.
