2.5 million dollars of federal money has Merritt a new wood pellet plant, it may use up to 50 people. The place is welcome cleaning up and improving an auto wreaking yard and an auto body repair place.
Wood pellets made from bug killed trees could be stumpage rate friendly as well.

The plant is shut down for maintence and has no return date according to a confirmed source. Rob MacDonald an equity partner says the decision was from high management and out of the plants control.
