About 130 people watched the Quebec made film Monsieur Lazhar in the NVIT , Merritt Campus Lecture Theater. The film was hosted by the Nicola Valley Film Society.
Charm over dread gives this film a sanction to view. The character development of main player sees a bond formed between  the viewer and a person whom is both a survivor and a hard-nosed believer in life over difficulties.

Humanity finds itself preserved over system  and policy and then pays a price that is often demanded :moving on. However the belief that the life force will go with the character and persevere again becomes impressed on the viewer leaving a hope that is both drawing and tenuous.
The acting is joyous especially the children students  inflicted with a virus of life in the person of their fill in teacher Monsieur Lazhar.
The view of this film is worth considering and it rates **** Good.
