To win you to make your own luck.

Today is make your own luck day, enjoy and make it perpetual!

How to make your own luck…

Stay focused, distractions cause mistakes , mistakes take time to correct so keep your eye on the proverbial ball.

Be optimistic ” its an ill wind that blows no one some good “! Look for the good in trouble and be on the right end of the good part.

There is no end to your work , no arrival, it all begins again in some way so don’t waste time on giving up.

See your self as a success! If you don’t , who will? …

Be kind ,every where, harsh works come back at some time ” every dog gets its day”!

 “MEMORIES and MANDALAS”
For those that have passed.
Commemorating our Nicola Valley Artists Who Have Passed
I lost my partner of over 30 years,Gordon Cockle, in January of this year. Although he was very well known in the community for his writings in the 90’s for the Merritt Herald and his own coffee paper, The Merritt Morning Mirror, there are lots of people who aren’t aware that he passed away. And many people who don’t know his creative work.

A legacy of art is being requested… Show is September 4th to 26th 2020/.

TGIF- Few faces big places and economic issue…

The BC government has a group meeting to deal with economic issues of restart in BC. The mandate has , transit public works, and social issues rising from Covid 21.

Infrastructure stimulus funding, local government financial recovery, public transit, broadband connectivity and the societal impacts of COVID-19 on communities.

In addition to identifying the above issues, UBCM noted the importance of all orders of government working collaboratively to respond to the impacts of the pandemic. To that end, UBCM has established a Special Committee on Economic Recovery, comprising members of the Presidents Committee, that would serve as the contact point for federal and provincial governments in the recovery effort.

Trans Mountain expansion signed deals to provide l improvements to Clearwater BC. The pipeline company began its expansion work in Bc over a month ago. There is a history of support and presence by the company that is now tax payer owned.

Trans Mountain and the District of Clearwater have entered into a funding agreement that will see Trans Mountain contribute $3.1 million into upgrades to Clearwater’s drinking water, wastewater management and sewer treatment systems. This contribution will be used for the construction, operation and maintenance of the infrastructure upgrades necessary to service the Trans Mountain Expansion Project’s worker accommodation camp. The initiative ensures the camp minimizes impacts on the community and provides a lasting benefit for the region.

COVID 19, BC update live…

The pandemic started in 2019 with reports coming out of China about an outbreak in a large manufacturing city. The city had wet wildlife markets as well as a pollution base that made it popular to wear face masks. There is no substance to rumors of the virus being made in a lab.

The virus acts like a cold however the infection goes for the lower respiratory system and can result in long painful treatment including ventilators and induced comas.

The death rate varies from place to place but it has a pension to overwhelm hospital and civic resources.

There is a wide expectation of vaccines to deal with this this new virus by 2021. Safety, effectiveness, distribution, and antibody resilience are issues.

Prevention can be as simple as that for common cold and many people do not have severe cases.

Good luck and carry on…
