Since 1937 and a pro labour Broadway play Pins and Needles day has been observed.
Pins and Needles Day might not have its origins in what you think! Though when we say ‘pins and needles’ today, you’ll think of that tingly feeling you get when your leg goes to sleep, the original Pins and Needles Day started up in 1937 to commemorate the opening of the pro-Labor musical play of the same name on Broadway. The production would eventually have a massive 1108 performance run, but its namesake day has grown to mean something else entirely.

The play pins and needles has played London as recently as 2010.
The Nicola Valley film Society is presenting the 2018 film, Women at War on November 18th 2019. The film starts at 7 PM in the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology , top of the hill on Belshaw avenue in Merritt BC Canada. Free parking no beverages or confections in the theater.

Petro Canada has installed quick chargers a the local outlet of Belshaw avenue in Merritt and is committed to a national highway of chargers,
The Chinese rover carried a biosphere with a number of plants to try to grow on the Lunar surface. Initial reports said that the experiment failed, however it is being reported that they briefly grew cotton before the plants froze. The activity was in January 2019 and a mission from Israel and India since have had limited results and failed landings since.

The registration cards are out this week for the federal election. A card with your address, name and polling places should be in this weeks mail. A 1-800 number is also included as is the address of an elections Canada office. You must also be able to prove your Identity and address to vote.
