Our world

Philosophy of mind is the way we view our world. This is a natural process of discovery we all seek and there are many ways people develop their personal mindset. The self is often in survival mode or other modes including dream states. The challenge of adapting to the powers that erode your drives is to realize the rewards for our consumption makes conflict which up until now was positive for the development of things like technology and defensive habitat. This remains on the table however the value of it is now questionable, but it is still preferable to delusion.

Selfishness is a privileged position that should be expanded to more people in the context of preserving the beauty of our earth. This is what I believe.

TGIF- Friday the thirteenth, lost its charm…

Blue Monday follows Friday the thirteenth…

Stars align and planets align does it matter if blue Monday follows Friday the thirteenth? Only if you Believe it does or if people in your proximity do. Stress is felt in every nest in nature, so respond and be calm and carry on!

Blue Monday coming…

Third Monday in January

The sixteenth of January will be “Blue 🔵 Monday” this year. Blue Monday is thought to be the most depressing day of the year. Chalk it up to post holiday season or the reality of weather and the risk of crop choice on the the coming planting it is worth noting.

Twenty six of the 89 days of the winter will have passed by the end of Monday the 16th of January 2023. Make them all count and perhaps your disciplined fortitude will see you through it. Then you will only have to be aware of those around you that are not as strong as you and you can reenforce them.

Today in 1901: oil gusher in Texas

January 10th 1901 the Spindletop oil well comes. Spindletop was the first great well of the Texas oil bonanza.

So, we go where we go and go when, we have gas.
Some that don not, will not and respite will prevail.
Winds of change will make our bed unless we will not sail.
On that breeze complete, with out ease, and before we sneeze.
Let reflect on what was best, and forget the rest, it was a pest.

Adjust to what is it that makes some sense. Nor other does best!

The only data difference that resonates…

The amount of people, roads and vehicles, you have to be a cartoon character to understand. There were 1,600,000,000 in 1900 we just went over 8 billion in 2022.

Most of the world is seeking a lifestyle more in line with the US. The Irony is that oil produced the variance. Anyway if you work at it there are lots more friends available.

Elon Musk, tongue in cheek:

Since Mars is know as the god of war for generations, it must seem prudent to some that Musk go to Mars to straighten him out.

Comic Relief

Merit and Malice

Space as a multicultural.

Necessary actions

Is this just the result of all the generations of Trekies (Star trek) the TV series 1996 -1969 coming to age. We think not! Its more likely a mix of mans curiosity and pragmatic need to know the way to live and survive and to react to the powers that keep human life going.

The dynamics of survival dictate from time to time a cooperation to the sane and rational and have preserved the species as whole over that time. This cooperation seems always to need a larger then normal operating field than that of the individual participants, giving the value to space and its sharing of risk benefit return a credibility.

So good luck in your share of this dynamic and lets hope its more then entertainment.

Since 1977

The first international juniors hockey tournament was held in 1977. However there were three unofficial tournaments starting in 1974.

Gold medals have been overwhelmingly won by Russia and Canada with 31of the 45 contests up to 2021 going to those two countries.

Congratulations to all those that participated this year including the Czech team that was in the final game.

The World Junior tournament is hosted by the International Hockey Federation.

Small is out there

Small is out there and it matters.Photons take millions of years to go from the middle of a star fighting gravity all the way because these light packets have some mass. Once free from the host they travel faster with less gravity to deal with.

Neutrino cousins

Neutrino

Neutrinos are among the most abundant particles in the universe, yet they are notoriously elusive. These subatomic particles are produced by various processes, including nuclear reactions in the sun and other stars, as well as during certain types of radioactive decay. Neutrinos are electrically neutral and interact with other matter only via the weak nuclear force and gravity, making them extremely challenging to detect.

Despite being produced in vast quantities, neutrinos have a minuscule mass, if any at all, and they travel close to the speed of light. They come in three different types or “flavors”: electron neutrinos, muon neutrinos, and tau neutrinos, which can transform from one type to another as they travel through space.

Neutrinos are of great interest to astrophysicists and particle physicists, as their behavior can provide valuable insights into fundamental aspects of the universe and its energetic processes.
