This sign is marking the public secondary schools system program to give vocational training to students. It mimics the music festivals signage for the “Walk of Stars”. Volunteer workers should always be scrutinized.

One of my kids went all the way to Los Angeles to drive one of four of theses trucks back for the local contractor Lower Nicola Backhoe to set up a competing business here. The owner of the junk yard that’s being developed into a wood pellet plant once said he was a million aire but it was in his piles of wreaks. His son now runs the business and I wonder if he has an appreciation for all aluminium classic parts like this Land rover ,romantically tied to the plains of Serengeti and other frontiers.
The local optometrist is updating his building to comply with the downtown theme. This after having two competing outlets for eyewear open down the street.
