World Backup Day is a very special day, the focus is to showcase the significance of the role of data in our everyday life. It is important to take regular backups so that you don’t miss out on anything crucial.  It is celebrated on the 31st of March each year.

Backup is nothing but a second copy of your file and it is kept in a safe place like a computer, smartphone or even cloud. The backup device can also be an external hard device. Usually, people do not get time to take a backup of their important documents, file, video, pictures regularly. Hence, World Backup Day ensures your precious data is well safe without any damage.

Back up is more then computers its people and projects .

Under new ownership

The downtown Econo lodge has a new sign and a confirmed source says they are under new ownership. the motel was owned and operated by Saug Shekon who lives in Kelowna now and has been operating the motel as an absentee.

The man who was introduced to me by the desk clerk as the new owner says he is not a franchise ( In town rooms and suites). He says there is only one but possibly more will come from him.The asian looking man with reasonable english says he may even move his home here.

Saturday night here in Merritt was a windy one, as shown by copper plates missing from the dome of the historic Coldwater Hotel. The AW also had some signage in the Nicola River on Sunday AM.

Wind speed is measured in kilopascal and they make a difference to local building codes as well as insurance policies.
