Exotic birds

Nicola Valley BC

We have great birds and birders here in the BC interior, of Canada. Our naturalist club is preparing for an outing two exotic kanaka bar to spot nature and it’s place. The group is fresh from a successful sandhill crane count and audit, a frog survey of many years, and are 🤙 calling for volunteer observers of one of our national birds the lake loon.

The Non profit want to do presentations to argument it’s hosting the provincial, BC Nature convention in 2025. So, what does that have to do with New Guinea, We are thinking the like the baby bears just right full of porridge, we in this interior British Columbia are similar in diversity in the sence of an uncomplicated ecology and providence of evolution giving the ability to catalogue ecologies over time.

two small buses run one at a time ,at about 4000 kilometers a month they are at 160,000 kilometers and a source says they  will be replaced with new ones at 200 thousand Ks that will be around Christmas time 2013.

The buses are operated by BC Transit and that is the provincial transit system.Only one full time job and some part timers including one that is retired from big town bus driving. The buses hold under 30 people but are equipped for wheel chairs and bicycles . They will also go to Kamloops and Kelowna on medical preference once a week for 5 dollars there and  return. You must book 24 hours ahead to make sure of service.
Opinion: We hope the new buses are as serviceable and maybe slightly bigger.
The service has an office in the back of the Chamber of Commerce building on Voght Street; just before the junction of Highway 8 and Highway 5-A on Nicola Avenue.
The service is subsidised.

Construction

The streets in Merritt are full of activity today as at least two major projects for this small community are at work. Sanders and Company are busting up the pavement and concrete at the old Grasslands Hotel site as well.

A sewer and water upgrade and a beautification in the small downtown core are in progress.

The local legion is also readying its front for a country music  possibly Merle Haggard according to an unconfirmed source. The about 10 x 10 black white and gray-scale portraits are done by the muralist Michelle Loughery and the Walk of Stars.

Demonstrations and Rioting

Opinion:

The right to peaceful assembly and protest is a necessary thing to a grassroots governed society. No one guarantees the right to riot and loot. Should the rioters in London and Vancouver be charged , in our view unless you are inciting or conspiring  now which is criminal then you should be allowed once.

The record of interviews and photos should be used to show and intervene the next time. We hope that the people who build credibility for there causes by peaceful and firm civil action carried out by such as King  and Gandi will be remembered as relevent now.
