TGIF- Truth, Happy 2022…

Truth

To tell the truth you need no sleuth.

Just your feeling of what is right, with no fight.

Keep it short, it will not retort.

File it tight, along with right.

For the day when it grows and gives its fruit.
Pain or gain need not explain, past sight.
A witness will rise and help its harvest, without flight.
In the range of sense and never behind the dreaded fence.

And all will see its virtue till, the fertile ground that never dies.
Because we loved and waited for our time, and gave its power its due.
And the truth is, we will love through all, and even death will lower its fee.
And I and we both will see.

The fence that calls to hide and keep the energy you paid.
To call into life and give it wheels, and let it shine, as said.
You must then give it up, and let it fly and land where it will.
And its peace, not its strife, is neither bought nor borrowed but stays still.

Sunday the 14th of January will be the New Year  for those that remain on the Julian Calendar.

For all those that watched the skies for Millennia ,  to give us many calendars in a progression of knowledge, Thank you.

The Julian calendar has been replaced as the civil calendar by the Gregorian calendar in almost all countries which formerly used it, although it continued to be the civil calendar of some countries into the 20th century.[4] Egypt converted on 20 December 1874/1 January 1875. Turkey switched (for fiscal purposes) on 16 February/1 March 1917. Russia changed on 1/14 February 1918.[5] Greece made the change for civil purposes on 16 February/1 March 1923, but the national day (25 March), which was a religious holiday, was to remain on the old calendar. source Wikipedia

Merritt is a very active place here after November 27th the countdown to Christmas starts then and a parade and midnight madness event starts it off. The local FM station has contests for home town shopping, and merchants try to establish their business success for the next year around the season. The local library is offering a 1000 dollars  in a contest that ends on November 26th.  The efforts that go into Christmas here are exceptional and sometimes quite heart warming.

The digital money company swag bucks are offering a Christmas preview sale for online shopping that ends on November 26th 20% off and 8 swag bucks ( 8 cents or eight percent) for every dollar spent on-line at Macy’s. The good will of the season is out there and is a significant value even for those involved in Christmas selling.

Q 101 is offering a draw for 1500 dollars in a home town shopping spree, ending December 9th..

The scenery can be very homey with snow-covered hills and a hush of the past looking to a new year.

Hobiyee

The crescent moon on the bottom of the orb was beautiful to see last night and a source in the first nations community says that is a Hobiyee. She said that the more pronounced the spoon effect of the crescent the better an omen for a good year is.

The word Hobiyee according to the source is a first nation word from a northern area about Kitwanga. Thats the Prince Rupert area of north western British Columbia.

An interpretation of the moon is that it will be agood year, which may be in conflict with the Chinese lunar new year  that begins the year of the snake as some see that as not a good year. However some good celebrations are planned by the Niska nation:  Say’tKilim-Goot ( one heart, one path, one nation) at Gitwinksihlkw BC, at the TS’oohl memorial center February 22 and 23,2013.

The Niska nation is the first nation group that got a treaty from the Canadian government that includes some self-government and taxation authority some years ago and is being monitored for results.
