The Blue Moon Elvis Festival is an annual event that celebrates the life and music of Elvis Presley. Held in various locations, this festival brings together Elvis fans from all over the world. It typically features live performances by Elvis tribute artists, Elvis-themed competitions, panel discussions, film screenings, and more. The festival aims to honor the legacy of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and crestivalate a memorable experience for all Elvis enthusiasts.

Merritt was looking for a theme at one time,it remains a multi purpose economy.

The local people of Merritt are very much keen on contemporary country and western music, as well as Rock and Roll.The Desert inn in Merritt has a mural of “the King” on its southern side.The mural was done by Michele Loughery of Vernon, an acclaimed artist, at the hight of the Merritt Mountain music festival Era two decades ago. The mural has been edited to remove a 50’s Era chev car and a Shell gas pump.

Rodeo Grounds

The rodeo grounds in Merritt are on the SW side of town, 499 Lindey creek road with its Fall Fair building ancillary.

The local fall fair building brings the farming community together at the end of summer every year and was the original loggers sports venue KDG file photo.

Timing

I woke a friend at dawn, he saw I was aside my feelings to report...

A great day is at bay, to rack our flesh on it’s stay.

What risk do I pay to break my wake? Then would I sleep though fame, and spell out shame?

Or better is it to keep a slumber and miss the world’s plan to give some grief.

I think it matters not that I should fret. I would climb a row or two to wait until the rack is full, then run to gate and trick it’s taste.

That taste of flesh when full, then goes bland, when comes life’s lure: it’s charm to me.

Oh that providence would guide my trail, guide to where the day is full of fail, then gives my path a different charge.

Lubed with sense and smart with drive, I see no compromise with grief or its sister woah.

Yes, I will wait on the unction of the moments that care, and not the bra that holds the flesh past it’s flow.

Life will drive, and I will ride, to the peace of self, then wake with you, it’s friend, as well.

Good times for all healthy wholesome things to find under the sun and then take some cool from afternoon cloud.We look for tomorrow we know it will come and our legacy of joy will stretch a pass from fear. BBC,five lost in deep sea adventure

On decent an implosion crushed the deep sea sub “Titan” killing the five adventurers including the owner and falling to the ocean floor in five pieces, joining an international grave site 500 m away from the remains of the Titanic the mighty ship lost in the second decade of the 20th century approximately 500 km off the Newfoundland Coast.

Decent dangerous time.

The changing pressure of the decent gives stress in variation as the sub goes down. A catastrophic implosion resulted about an hour and a half into the dive. Giving certain death to all aboard on Sunday last.

Risk and safety awkward partners.

Those that can’t teach, or is that a legacy in waiting from failure?
