Meets threshold for application.

Fringe designation may have been unfair, context important. PM

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he regrets referring to Freedom Convoy protesters as a “fringe minority” and admits his government could have done more to avoid having to invoke the Emergencies Act to end the protest. Before the convoy arrived in Ottawa, Trudeau labeled the group as a fringe and said they held “unacceptable views.” “I wish I had phrased that differently,” Trudeau told reporters during a press conference Friday. Emergency act not Marshal Law

The 1998 law replaced the War measures act.

Opinion

The War measures act with its bitter taste earned in the crisis with separatists decades ago is is not the same. The new law had lots of benches to accomplish to maintain that status. The lack of death or insurrection may demonstrated its value over what is usually considered archaic powers marshal law powers that regimes have used to hide information or keep power.

Aggrieved people inflamed by word choice a lesson.

The reasonable standard of order breaking down was met. Review Judge.

Deserves serious scrutiny.

The Emergency act is managed by a committee of Parliament, it expires in 30 days if not revoked or extended.

PSA, Cyclops…

Myth or madness

When was it you last had need of a One eyed giant. It is usually easily recalled by those that have need of them. They will leave a lasting impression on most people. So of what use are they, if not binocular then monocular occupies what niche.? Well you can adopt a particular one of these creatures as your own invisible friend and confidante. So always meet with your CCC ( Confidential Canadian Cyclops ) with an appointment, this will give it time to research the difficulty to be addressed. Unlike Genies these genderless group of gurus are not spontaneous with help. They also like agenda driven issues and will adjourn to a day when the issues are not clearly enough in proposal.

So, you should engage and name your personal assistant Cyclops by calling 1 800-131-4333.

Usual remedial actions not working:

Try the Canadian Mental Health Association, 1 888-216-2550. They have help with plans for MH.

You should know this…

Be aware

If your local emergency room is closed, 911 is your immediate option. KDG

The green comet peaked on February 7th, however, After the tenth, according to sources, the Moon will not be so bright and the green comet ( chemical composition make’s green by Ultra Violet light on carbon) may be seen better as it exits for 50,000 more years.

Happy star gazing…

However, if you missed it, don’t unnecessarily worry: this week might be the best time to see it after all. Around the the10th of February the Moon will be less bright and the comet might actually be clearer, as it passes Mars.
