There are reported to be 2 of these relief puzzles, and the maker quotes EO Wilson on the statistics of extinction of 100 species since the 1600s.
This puzzle is on the main entrance wall at NVIT, a community college in Merritt.

A boxy new simple gas car is handled in a parking lot near E V chargers in Merritt.

This boxy Nissan Car was being photoed by a dealer in the parking lot of the local arena.”It looks like a milk truck” was heard to be said of it with agreement.
The parking lot is the site of the local farmers market that runs spring through fall in Merritt. The earthy appearance may appeal to that bunch. People sure go to lengths, to sell.

Gasoline is selling at 103.9 a liter a broken sign at a local gas station makes for wishful dreaming.

Maury Sinclair s survivor dog
Maury Sinclair passed away a few years ago the little dog was her only survivor, she had two boys that were killed in an intersection accident after a friend picked them up at school. Be grateful for those that are relations to you as it can change in a moment of time….
The local arts council is having a showing of the works of Gabriola Island artist Harold Allanson. Stone Crop Studios. The Show will be from February 27th to March 7th at he Old Courthouse Gallery ,1840 Nicola Avenue Merritt BC. There will be an artist reception on February 27th 5-7 PM The Court House gallery is open Fridays and Saturdays 10AM-4PM during the show. The Arts Council has moved from month long showings to relying on the reception and a brief period of reflection. The arts council is a member of the provincial arts council, and endorsed by the City of Merritt.

Gasoline has gone up to a dollar and 4.9 cents a liter here at the local Petro Canada, at the intersection of highway 5 and 8 downtown Merritt. It had been to a low of 95.9 cents a liter but has now moved a whole 9 cents since yesterday.
No sence of a gas war but a sence large market forces and political intervention in geo politics making for price changes geared to agendas.

The price of a liter of regular gasoline is at 95 cents a liter down another cent since last week. The driving season that usually starts in May will be interesting to see as if gasoline continues its decline through it we can attribute habits as being entrenched to some degree.

March 13th will see an community art show at the Old Court- House Gallery . In cooperation with the local dance studio the show will have its reception on March 13th at the Court House Gallery on Nicola avenue in Merritt BC, the reception will be from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Titled Dance to the Rhythm of my Heart,the show will then run the rest of the month from the 14th to the 28th.

The Dance Art competition is open to anyone, not only dance students.
There are two categories: Fine Art (drawing, painting, sculpting, photography) and Costume Design.
There are three age groups: Pre-school to 12 years, 13 to 18 years and Adult – competitive or non-competitive.The purpose of the dance art competition, is to give the artists and crafters in the Nicola Valley an opportunity to display their creativity and to create awareness of careers for artists in the world of dance, such as set designers and builders, costume designers and seamstresses, wig & hair stylists, photographers, etc.
Also: The reception will be from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Please add: Winners will be announced at 6:00pm.
