The crowns of the globe are sometimes resplendant with reflecting solar particals.This has a cooling effect on the earth, similar to the presence of sulfur from volcanic eruptions, the mix of charged elements in our environments makes for a soup of chemical energy and mass interaction.

Weather and Climate not the same.
So so many variables that go in to making our climate, being out of our control make an imperative to be informed and knowledgeable with a repository of data. These are the right forums to do this. As most of us get our information through the media there is a mix of entertainment in the brew. This should be discounted and noted when coming to a position for or against community actions that creep up around events. One of the goals of the mission is to harvest rocks to be available for a future mission to return to earth with them. Chemical content is valuable to research the possibility of a different atmosphere over time.
Lava tubes…
There is an interest in finding lava tubes on Mars. The ones on earth are made when lava flows harden on the outside leaving a tube like place. The tubes may contain ice protected from the sun and lack of atmosphere.

India’s failed lander has been found on the moon according to Nasa. The Vikram lander didn’t complete its landing intact on September 7th 2019 (North American time. ) There have been three countries make a successful landing on the moons surface the US, China and Russia. Only the US has landed people on the moon.

Prizes by Google and donations saw Israel attempt a low cost lander. in February 2019. They would have been the 7th country to land on the moon, however engine failure in decent caused a crash as well. The mission was still deemed a success for various reasons. India’s attempt was also a low cost attempt.

Monday November 26th the 8th successful Mars landing by NASA was concluded with the transmission of a photo. The Craft has a 2 year mission and unlike rovers will do it from the same place. The lander is straight and level in what appears to be a flat plain. It will transmit data to two Nano satellites that followed the craft from earth. The 7 month trip from earth is part of a commitment to learn the secrets of rocky planets such as ours . A mole ground penetrator hammer will slowly punch a hole down while measuring temperatures to depth. The lander will also listen for geo disturbances such as quakes. Mars is estimated to be 4 billion years old, a little older then the earths 3. 6 billion and is considered relevant to knowing secrets of our type of planet. There are 4 rocky planets in our solar system Earth, Mars, Venus, and Mercury. Uranus has been demoted to a planetoid, the remaining are gas giants.

Mars is imagined by some to have once been a blue planet with lakes and water bodies that were lost in time. The Earth keeps its water and atmosphere by the effect of the magnetic field on it in part. Gravity and the weight of clouds also keeps the sun from burning off the planet.
