The Pacific Forest rallies back again with another program starting on Friday, May 30th and continuing to the 31st in Merritt, British Columbia The race starts on Granite Avenue with a display as above as the precursor to the start.
The two thousand block of Granite avenue was full of rally cars on Friday night with a start time of 5 PM the cars left for a run just before the start time of the entertainment for the Night Market entertainment began.
The pacific forest rally that these competitors drove had a fall rally here for many years; the event was interrupted by the covid lockdowns and restrictions on travel.

The annual Pacific Forest Rally is on this weekend in Merritt. Thursday September 27th will have the rally cars registering at the Best Western Plus in Merritt. The rest of the time until 8 pm will administration and reconnaissance and scrutinising will be the order of the day.
September 28th, there is a service park open to the public at the Wagons West travel plaza from 1 PM to 10:30 PM, a car display from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM and an official start at 5:30 PM on Granite avenue downtown. There will also be a spectators stand at Helmer Lake until 9:30 PM.
On Saturday spectator stands are at Helmer lake 9:30 to noon, Comstock special 1-3 PM, Spius special, 4-7PM. the end of rally is about 9PM at the Best Western plus.

The 2017 edition of the Pacific Forest Rally is on this weekend in Merritt, at this writing rally cars are in town and getting reafy for the weekends event.
The cars are in Spirit Square, Quilchena avenue Friday for viewing before the official starting at 4:30 PM.
At the beginning of August, we sent a notice to all CARS license holders that we were considering re-scheduling the rally 2 weeks later, because of the ongoing wildfire situation in BC’s forests, and committed to making the final decision by Labour Day. While it is still possible that the fire danger will abate before the originally scheduled date, we have decided to make the call now, in order to give participants, volunteers and fans as much time as possible to re-arrange their plans. So, PFR will now take place on October 13-14, with recce October 12-13. Official regs with the new date and schedule will be coming soon. Thanks for everyone’s patience, and let’s have a fun event and not burn down the forest in the process!

Every fall there is a sports car rally in the Nicola Valley,The Pacific Forest Rally is the 4th stop on the national tour and is on October 3rd and 4th this year.Tenty eight competitors are featured in the rally guide and will compete for place and time beginning in a ceremonial start at 5:30 PM on Friday October 3rd, on Granite avenue downtown Merritt.
The rally has an offical charity, The Abilitas Foundation.
