Spacex upgrade

SpaceX’s Starship Flight 11 was a significant success, achieving every major objective and marking the final flight of the Version 2 Starship and first-generation Super Heavy booster.Starship Flight 11 SuccessesThe test, which launched on October 13, 2025, from Starbase, Texas, demonstrated critical capabilities for Starship’s future development and reusability: * Flawless Ascent and Staging: The Super Heavy booster successfully ignited all 33 Raptor engines, and a successful hot-staging maneuver separated the booster and the Starship upper stage.

*

Booster Soft Splashdown:

Super Heavy completed its boostback burn and a new, unique 13-engine landing burn designed for the next generation of the booster. It then successfully hovered above the water before executing a soft splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico, providing valuable data for future landing-tower catch attempts. * Starship Milestones: The upper stage achieved its planned velocity and trajectory, successfully deployed eight Starlink simulators, and performed the third in-space relight of a Raptor engine—a crucial capability for deorbit burns.

* Controlled Re-entry and Splashdown:

Starship gathered extensive data on its heatshield performance during atmospheric re-entry, intentionally stressing the vehicle. It then successfully executed a final landing flip, landing burn, and soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean. The complete success of this mission provided crucial data as SpaceX pivots to the next generation of Starship, the Block 3 vehicles.Upcoming Starship Flight 12Starship Flight 12 is highly anticipated as it will debut the new Block 3 vehicle version and is expected to launch from the renovated Pad 1 or the new Pad 2 at Starbase. * Launch Timeline: A precise launch date has not been finalized, but speculation from industry observers and polls suggests a potential window around the end of 2025 or early 2026. * New Vehicle: Flight 12 will feature the first use of the Block 3 Starship and Super Heavy vehicles, which are intended to have enhanced reliability, reusability, and payload capacity.

* Objectives:

The flight is expected to repeat the suborbital flight profile of its predecessors, with the ship falling slightly short of reaching a full orbit. It may also pursue more aggressive tests related to reusability, such as further refinement of the landing burn in preparation for the eventual booster “chopsticks” catch. The focus for Block 3 vehicles will be on performing orbital launches and subsequent reusability and recovery. The next flight is a critical step in finalizing the Starship Version 3, the iteration that will be used for orbital launches and ultimately for crewed missions to the Moon and Mars. Here’s an overview of the most recent successful test: SpaceX Starship Stuns With Perfect Splashdown | Musk Celebrates Historic 11th Test Flight Success – YouTube. This video is relevant as it provides coverage of the successful Flight 11 test and its key achievements.

Good Luck

Mars,

Spacex is a private contractor brought along by NASA to commercially provide service to space projects and development. The company is involved with the Artimas return to the moon program that will send  four people back to the moon and have two of them land.

The view that we cannot rely on the earth to preserve our species existence drives  Spacex through its founder Elon Musk. The view  is strengthened by many nations taking it for strategic purposes that would result in permanent occupation of the moon and it  used as a base to do the same on Mars.

This is incredibly expensive and dangerous . The view that we would be better served making earth a better cared for and safer place is mitigated slightly by the advance of science involved in space exploration.

Moon base

Musky point of view..

The commerical hopeful SpaceX has had three recent test flights of its interplanetary rocket that they U to use to establish their presence in space, the moon and then Mars. The Starship has tickled the face of low earth orbit collect data then failed to return; something integeral to the program.

Nasa is to fly around the moon in the new Artimas I Rocket then return to earth with its 4 live crew persons in a test for a landing with the historic first female to be on the moon. Good luck.

Both Musk’s SpaceX and NASA are progressing in their respective programs for lunar exploration. SpaceX has conducted three recent test flights of its interplanetary rocket, Starship, aimed at establishing a presence in space, the moon, and eventually Mars. While they have collected data from low Earth orbit, they encountered issues with the rocket’s return, which is a crucial aspect of the program.

On the other hand, NASA is advancing with its Artemis I mission, planning to fly around the moon using the new Artemis I Rocket. The mission will also mark a historic event with the inclusion of the first female astronaut to walk on the moon. The program is moving forward as NASA prepares for a test landing with a live crew of four astronauts. This sets the stage for an exciting period of lunar exploration for both SpaceX and NASA.

Creating a moonbase involves several safety concerns that need to be addressed to ensure the well-being of the inhabitants and the success of the mission. Some of the key safety concerns include:

  1. Radiation Exposure: The moon’s surface lacks a protective atmosphere, exposing inhabitants to a higher level of cosmic and solar radiation. Shielding materials and designated shelters must be implemented to minimize radiation exposure.
  2. Micrometeoroids and Lunar Dust: Lunar dust and micrometeoroids pose a risk to structures as well as the health of astronauts. Designing resilient structures and developing proper filtration systems are essential to mitigate these risks.
  3. Life Support Systems: Reliable life support systems are crucial for providing a habitable environment, including clean air, water, and food. Fail-safes and redundancies must be in place to ensure continuous support.
  4. Regolith Contamination: Controlling the spread of lunar regolith (soil) within the living spaces is important to prevent contamination of living quarters and equipment, which could pose health risks and affect the functionality of machinery.
  5. Psychological Well-being: Isolation, confinement, and the challenges of living in a harsh lunar environment can impact the mental well-being of inhabitants. Psychological support and recreational activities play a vital role in sustaining the mental health of the moonbase residents.

Addressing these safety concerns is essential for the successful establishment and operation of a moonbase, fostering a sustainable and secure environment for lunar exploration and potential future human habitats.

Nasa Artemis 1 Spacex commercial…

The Artemis program, led by NASA, aims to land “the first woman and the next man” on the Moon by 2024 and establish a sustainable human presence on the lunar surface. The program also has plans for the Artemis Base Camp, a lunar gateway that will facilitate long-duration crewed missions and provide a platform for scientific research.

As of now, NASA is actively working on various components of the Artemis program. This includes the development and testing of the Space Launch System (SLS), the Orion spacecraft, and the lunar Gateway. Additionally, the selection of commercial partners and the continued progress of the overall mission architecture are key focus areas.

The Artemis program represents an exciting chapter in space exploration, and further updates about its progress can be found on the official NASA website and related space exploration resources.

Third Starship launch

Third Starship Launch by SpaceX

The third Starship launch by SpaceX signals significant progress in their ambitious space exploration endeavors. The mission, executed with the Starship SN8 prototype, marked an important milestone despite the prototype’s unsuccessful landing. Its flight demonstrated several key advancements in the design and capabilities of the Starship spacecraft.

As for the prospect of a manned launch, SpaceX has outlined plans for crewed missions using the Starship. This indicates that the company is actively working towards making manned spaceflights a reality with the Starship, although the specific timeline for such missions is yet to be confirmed. SpaceX’s dedication to achieving crewed launches is evident through ongoing development and testing.

Successful launch test…

“part of the game” 🎯

The launch of the Space X Starship is dreamed a “success” after a breaking away booster exploded and contact was lost.

“Eight minutes of glory” 🙌

The flight lasted twice as long as the first one back in April, it’s 4 minutes of test flight was also deemed a success.

What price data?

We concur that safety is paramount in data. Building a program on loss of life is not in the stars.
