Seven PM Start

The City of Merritt British Columbia at its Black Friday parade last night, November 24th 2023.

The parade started from Voght Park at 7:00 p.m. in dark conditions headed towards the center of town looped around the radio station building and continued back towards the West on Quilchena avenue. Dispersing in the area of the United Church.

The floats included the iconic concrete and lights number 13 door guards ready mix cement truck. Numbers of groups, businesses, and organizations.

The Grinch was there and his little green car was being towed by another float.

Numbers of children,dancers, walking greeters made for a lively progression.

The MLA had a decorated pickup truck in tune with the ruralness of her constituency. Jackie Tegart has been MLA here since May 2013 she has stated that she intends to run in the 2024 election.

BBC,five lost in deep sea adventure

On decent an implosion crushed the deep sea sub “Titan” killing the five adventurers including the owner and falling to the ocean floor in five pieces, joining an international grave site 500 m away from the remains of the Titanic the mighty ship lost in the second decade of the 20th century approximately 500 km off the Newfoundland Coast.

Decent dangerous time.

The changing pressure of the decent gives stress in variation as the sub goes down. A catastrophic implosion resulted about an hour and a half into the dive. Giving certain death to all aboard on Sunday last.

Risk and safety awkward partners.

Those that can’t teach, or is that a legacy in waiting from failure?

Eight billion souls agree

Obviously the only way that Hunter gathering and local gardening would satisfy 8 billion stomachs is if they hunted each other. And I think it’s agreed we should quit doing that. However that leaves forestry and nature for no till growing, and the calmness and gentleness of your front garden for peace of mind and soul rest. We give that without reserve to all that attempt it.

A Hydrogen filling station no longer in Merritt BC

The Bus Depo and truck stop had working hydrogen fuel up untill the emergency situation riddled the province in recent years.

are an essential part of the technology that powers cleaner and more efficient vehicles. As a leader in fuel cell technology, Ballard has been at the forefront of the shift towards sustainable transportation.

The Trans Mountain Expansion project is a major step towards expanding Canada’s ability to transport oil to the rest of the world. While many have concerns about the environmental impact of such projects, it’s important to recognize the role that clean technologies like fuel cells can play in mitigating those impacts.

Hydrogen has worked with Ballard on a number of projects over the years, and we’re proud to continue that partnership as we support the development of cleaner, more sustainable transportation solutions.
