Editors warning …

This post is not meant to be a complete guide to poison safety. We only want to draw attention to the observance. More attention to poison safety then what is published here is required.

Some Black Berries can be poisoned,. You need to be aware of the colours of berries and other traits to be confident to eat them.

“Stay away from berries on plants with spines, bitter smells, or milky sap.
In general, the following plants are not safe for humans to eat, including the berries. You should check for:”

According to Wiki Help here is a start for your diligence:

  • Milky or odd-colored saps.
  • Berries or nuts in pods and bulbs
  • Bitter or soapy taste
  • Spines or small pointy hairs
  • Pink, purple, or black spurs.
  • Three-leaved growth pattern (like poison ivy)[1]

Animals in the fall can be drunk..

The frost can ferment berries in fall and winter making large animals eating them drunken visitors.

Freedom is not anti mandate…

Freedom is not an anti mandate.

Washington state is being sued by anti-vaccination interests. The State of Washington is mandating health workers to get covid-19 shots. The governor is saying that it is not unreasonable to require the workers to protect the health of the people they treat. The basis tenant  of jurisdiction remains true, that jurisdiction is the rule for the rule.

Freedom is an assault when it is the rule of the tenant over the owner. Or the owner over the tenant’s person, we get that. And so does history, as it unfolded in violent and terrible loss when lines are crossed.

Want to be asked, not told…

So peoples  ancestors fought to get jurisdiction for their freedom and overtime got some. We know that, however since a sense of place is more than legal rankling over jurisdiction, they both have merit.

Jurisdiction cloaked by exclusive right is, at first glance attractive. However, the sense of place seems more inclusive. Yes, it makes you want to invite another to your liberty, a broader community, and give and take. So what is the difference between the two? They both make you do something, one seems to slip by unrewarded and the other generates pride and defensiveness. Why is that? When is it right?

Well, let’s just say defensive actions are not neighborly. Maybe it’s that simple! When you add mutual interests to the mix, its sells.

So what is the mutual interest in vaccines, for some, it’s a passing statement that blames the industry for taking  profit, or some other inconvenience Then a comment becomes an argument and away we go. So what is the answer to that, there is none, it’s a choice and you can choose not to as well.

Non withstanding a man with an experience is better off than one with an argument, that ‘won’t wash, unless the experienced is the one living in strife for so long that he never wants to see it again. That’s only happened completely a few times, so excuse us that apprentice in the endeavor, of whatever that is. Remember all those people that died and got radiation in the WW II atomic bombs drops? There was one victim that got his leukemia into remission along with a lot of burns. So that’s the answer next time you want to argue that the pandemic is good for something, and you need to be concerned, neighbor, it’s you that will survive like the Hiroshima cancer guy.

Look around and survey the depth and breadth of your realm, you may be the only one there. And have burned and are in a lonely jurisdiction, in a crowd, a crowd of those ghosts of strife, and with a mandate for strife.

Peace out PP

Are we ready

It appears that the goals of phase 4 maybe not the conditions to

start and success will depend on individual effort as well.

Phase 4 starts tomorrow…

John Horgan says no Sept 7th restart to normal, two weeks ago…

Phase 4 will only be achieved when COVID-19 is no longer a risk, due to an effective treatment, vaccination, or evidence of community immunity. Until British Columbia reaches Phase 4, there will be no rock concerts, conventions, or large gatherings of more than 50 people. Resumption of business, but not business-as-usual

Get vaccinated.

The Variant is out there and Covid-19 will still get you, that will hurt people I have that work in the health care system, we don’t want it to create another dependant class of people to replace the Ingenious that may be coming out of that on September 30th. TIC

Iron lung triage

Polio was a scrooge to the population prior to vaccinations, put on US president in a wheel chair for life. But true horror was the triage for for who might live when recourses were needed to be rationed. The truth of it is that you don’t mess with these things when they can be resolved, because that door may not always be open. I am familiar with one case where a young girl inn the 30’s involuntarily traded. her high school time for a life never getting out of an iron lung capsule.

That was a better outcome for people that go triaged out of that limited resource. Covid.19 is out there and so are you, it will find you in that 20 percent of unvaccinated. and you may triaged out because of your present health and age and the availability of treatment resources.

As provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry was announcing tighter restrictions to cover all of the Interior Health region, she said it won’t be a surprise if the province doesn’t advance to Step 4 in September.

Trans Mountain Expansion,, TMX is a pipeline that is a twinning of an existing one that comes from the Edmonton Alberta area and brings Alberta crude west through Burnaby to refineries in the US that process and distribute oil products into the free market. Trans mountain works on a tariff system that it charges producers to transport the crude to destinations. They do not own the oil.

Owned by the Government of Canada.

The 60 year oil company that was the Trans Mountain Pipeline was bought the Trudeau Government from US investors to ensure that the national interest of its bringing oil from Alberta was secure against the “oppression of the majority” and other dynamics of the provincial interest of big against small, wealth transfer, strategic supply of the needed chemicals for energy, food , medicines, and the sovereign Canadian ability to mange its own.

Trans Mountain pipeline was commissioned in March 1951, after an act of the Canadian Parliament created it.

Trans mountain pipeline was born in the public interest, moved in and out of public control over its life time and at this time remains steadily in Canadian public control, at least until completion of and the maturity of its role in the supply line. The standards of construction and maintenance may exceed what is generically called an oil pipeline elsewhere in the world, which is good we believe. The following videos are produced by Trans Mountain however they are film and can be easily verified by interested.

Climate Change Emergency.

The discourse of the current federal election has some candidates calling global warming as an emergency situation. We agree that the demands of human population is making for all kinds of emergency situations and they all need attention. The carbon thing is to be addressed by emissions controls after use and requires industry to do it if other needed dynamics are not to be neglected.

Insurance

Some are calling for the insurance industry to not give insurance to the TMX operations, in an effort to stop the construction. We have not researched who may be providing insurance to the operations. However for those that find comfort in the fact that insurance company’s often partner by under writing projects we would remind you that the Canadian Government self insures its operations as do some large corporations and because the TMX operations are government owned its a mute point to try to undermine its construction by that kind of boycott

Sense of place

The way the expansion and indeed the continuation of life on earth should not violate our peoples sense of place or belonging.. Three generations have come along of people that directly benefited from Trans Mountain operations, sense of place is well established with these, we hope that those that are not at arms length will try to and speak out when needed, to support the good things, that may come to the people in the macro sense.

Over 5 billion vaccinations world wide, Canada punching above weight…

There were 5,213,175,620 vaccinations accounted for worldwide, Canada has accounted 52,057,379 doses roughly 1 percent pf the worlds effort.. Canada has 0.5 percent of the world population, this makes a small number to administer and care for covid-19 related measures, meaning Canada’s effort is a rounded success, but not complete yet..

West Alternate Route.

On August 19th 2021 TMX reiterated that the west alternate route is approved and 99.9 percent of the expansion is

approved at this writing.

Variance came from request of Coldwater FN Band.

The Commission also found there has been adequate consultation and accommodation with respect to potentially affected Indigenous peoples for the purpose of their decision on the variance application. The Commission gave significant weight to the fact that Coldwater, which is the Indigenous community located in the Coldwater Valley and closest to the West Alternative, indicated its support for the West Alternative as the superior route option through the Coldwater Valley. The Commission noted that in the West Alternative variance application, Trans Mountain included several letters from other Indigenous peoples in support of Coldwater’s position on the West Alternative.
