Got to have been mixed with some high-octane love, to work that fast. Maybe it is goodwill and love mixed with some good 😊 old Star power communications in song and verse as well.

You bet, things are looking up!

The federal government has announced another goal for its climate and emission plan. This is a precursor to a new budget coming out in weeks.

Forty percent decrease in emmisions from 2005 level.

This is the tenth plan and none have met the projections as yet, the PMO says if we don’t act now it will be too late. The plan includes incentives for EVs, charging stations, and other green programs. The new goal is also projected for 2030. Oil and gas methane is targeted for a 75 percent reduction by 2030.

Ambitious undertaking

This new addition to the emissions program is called ambitious.

TMX, Trans Mountain pipeline expansion, Edmonton to Burnaby has plans to upgrade its storage capacity as well as its loading to ship’s efficiency. The existing line from Edmonton to Burnaby will be 70 years old in 2023. The twinning of the pipeline declared to be a national interest has increased its cost to a projected 21 billion dollars at completion with its completion date moved to the third quarter of 2023 from its intended December 2022 finish date.

One of its features is a landline fiber that runs on top 🔝 the pipe and has the side benefit of bringing quality internet to several small communities along its approximate1,000 km route.

The Trans Mountain pipeline status is not far from its roots as it was a national interest that was created by an act of Parliament 70 years ago next year. Ownership migrated to the US and conglomerates until the purchase by the Canadian government recently. We hope that its completion will see the public trading of shares and will give Canadians an opportunity to own the security of energy into the future.

TGIF- It’s a Frog’s Life…

Happy Friday.

It’s a dog’s life but growing on that Ideum is that it is a “frog’s life” is. thankfully gaining traction. The environment’s status as an imperative has gained over time and experience and now has bellwethers in its observation. One of the most effective measures in its health is the presence and health of Frogs.

Large industrial projects such as dams, mines, and pipelines have EPP’s “environmental protection plans” as a condition of permitting.

Columbia spotted frog

These measures include visual surveys in ecological footprints as well as fences to capture and salvage amphibians to relocation plans. Species like the Columbia spotted frog are highly migratory and will travel far to water sources. The species has a status of ” population decreasing” and is prime for salvage when entering industrial areas.

A project like the trans mountain pipeline will have 60 EPP’s and if you see fencing it is likely it is for the benefit of a vulnerable creature, and ours as the environment keeps us all.
