The road ahead is now clear but there are no shortcuts if you want to see New Brunswick reach that green level as quickly as possible please go out and get yourself vaccinated and encourage your family and friends to do the same thank you very much good afternoon .It is important that we don’t lose sight of our objective we know that there’s been some differences and and how we’re rolling out and moving forward in the end and of getting beyond covid we also know that we’re all very tired of this and no one’s any more tired of of than I am but this isn’t a time to lose control or lose patience or cause disruptions to friend and neighbors this is a time that we exercise restraint we keep moving in a direction that’s getting us back to life as normal and we do so in our respective areas that are providing the best health care needs and opportunities we are on the cusp here of getting back to green (normal) and will work through the issues within Atlantic region and I’m confident that we will be able to do so I’m going to be meeting with my with my colleagues our view hasn’t changed we are very comfortable with the recommendations of public health we’re very comfortable with the capabilities in our respective provinces the border between Atlanta provinces and we will make all of this work. May has an American Craft Beer week, running from today until Sunday the 23rd craft beer week gives status to the consumer driven choice that free market driven access gives. Not some stoic two of each kind of business, over lorded by mandarins, the laborers go to refreshment is on the scrutiny block .
Choice is good and is better in the hands of more people. Responsibility is good however it sometimes in the hands of two few people. You be the judge this week. Glug Glug…

Trans mountain pipeline company is working on the twinning of their 60 year old line from Alberta to the west coast. The now completed Green energy project above got copy from a platform; is the info correct or sales puffing. Ask the financers? Is there an age of truthiness coming to deal with debt piled up out of Covid-19?
The Covid-19 restrictions caused a drop in demand and perhaps will change habits and expectations for consumption.
The size and complexity of the global crude oil market has expanded significantly since the Trans Mountain Pipeline entered service in the 1950s. Canada is the fourth largest oil producing country globally, behind the United States, Russia and Saudi Arabia and approximately equivalent to Iraq in terms of daily oil production. Canada’s oil consumption is comparatively small, so our nation is a net exporter of petroleum products and crude oil. Canada has the third largest proven crude oil reserves globally behind Saudi Arabia and Venezuela as a result of the approximate 170-billion-barrel oilsands. Export of crude oil and refined products has been, and will continue to be, a significant economic impact for Canada.
TM today
In 2019, global crude oil and liquid hydrocarbon production and related demand was nearly 100 million barrels per day. The COVID-19 pandemic decreased global demand for oil roughly 30 per cent by May 2020[1]. Implicit in studies such as the Internal Energy Agency (IEA) on Global Demand see support for an expected recovery in demand, however, the pace of recovery is unclear given the uncertainty associated with the course of the COVID-19 virus[2]. Even in this difficult year of 2020 with reduced global demand resulting from COVID-19 and lower oil prices, the Trans Mountain Pipeline has continued to be full, with demand exceeding the current capacity.

The BC government has announced that will be available rebates of up to 1/3 the cost of an EV. and added 2 million dollars to the clean BC specialty use rebate program on August 5th 2020.The program is for business and groups. The program may give a higher platform to the usefulness of electric alternatives.
BC hydro also increased the subsidy on Electric chargers on December 3rd first come first serve.
In our subjective view EVs remain Novel to consumers still however their are numbers of reasons that a choice of a quieter vehicle would suit many.

Monday is a paid holiday for many Canadians, no its not a half hour later in Newfoundland, it is a stat holiday in 6 provinces. Two others have February holidays PEI Day and Louise Riel day in Manitoba.
Family Day was originally created to give people time to spend with their families but it also provides a day off between New Years Day and Good Friday as they are approximately three months apart.

It is a lot of work to maintain relationships and allow and sometime suffer for others choices and overlap of values. The statutory holidays site is currently running and ad saying that the Trans Mountain pipeline is on the side of Canadians, some may differ but one thing is true you have a day off with ( many people) pay to enjoy or block put the world. The Trans Mountain bunch have repaired the trail that they maintain near their Burnaby South oil infrastructure. The reality is often people have to live next to industry and we say thanks to those that are in that sacrifice. We appreciate the fact that they are often the alarm when things are out of control and that they have made a trade off ( we hope with empowered choice) .
A long-time stream keeper and neighbour of the Burnaby Terminal expressed appreciation for Trans Mountain’s trail restoration work and riparian habitat enhancements. Regularly used by the local community, the neighbours noticed and appreciated the trail repairs.

Time life chooses the news maker of the year at about this time without judgement on Merit however the fact that the person was a dominant newsmaker makes it worth documenting. Trumps claim to fame relies partly on being a disrupter, he ended two dynasties and promised to “drain the swamp” it certainly seems to fill Times criteria for Newsmaker.
It’s hard to measure the scale of his disruption. This real estate baron and casino owner turned reality-TV star and provocateur—never a day spent in public office, never a debt owed to any interest besides his own—now surveys the smoking ruin of a vast political edifice that once housed parties, pundits, donors, pollsters, all those who did not see him coming or take him seriously. Out of this reckoning, Trump is poised to preside, for better or worse.
Time life
Donald Trump made 2016 POY as its ninetieth subject. Jamel Khashoggi still missing Washington post Journalist and 2018 featured newsmaker has the dubious distinction of being Times first dead POY. Today the United States Senate, December 13th 2018 voted to end support for the Saudi led war in Yemen probably a direct result of Trumps and the Khashoggi dynamic.
We hope that the effect of the media on this situation will bring positive results from this tension.. PP America first.

A number of combined court cases against the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion prevailed against the enterprises expansion project today in the Federal Court of Appeals. The judgement in part days agreed that there was not proper consultation with all stakeholders. As well as some oversights in routing is alleged.
This opens the possibly of the government going to the Supreme court to assert its right about the work bein in the national interest. We can probably expect some walk on scrutiny of the route in anticipation of more consultation before the next round of court. Or the possibility of the NEB having the concerns addressed and approving the project for the 3rd time. This is most politically sensitive to the next federal election and a decision before the construction season begins in the spring and the principle of good faith gets it of the ballot.
The next election would be the third government to be elected by a majority with a platform for the expansion. That’s a lot of consultation. Maybe MPs don’t speak the same language as stakeholders. PP
PS: With pot coming legal maybe nothing will matter to anyone by the next Federal election.
