West Alternate Route.

On August 19th 2021 TMX reiterated that the west alternate route is approved and 99.9 percent of the expansion is

approved at this writing.

Variance came from request of Coldwater FN Band.

The Commission also found there has been adequate consultation and accommodation with respect to potentially affected Indigenous peoples for the purpose of their decision on the variance application. The Commission gave significant weight to the fact that Coldwater, which is the Indigenous community located in the Coldwater Valley and closest to the West Alternative, indicated its support for the West Alternative as the superior route option through the Coldwater Valley. The Commission noted that in the West Alternative variance application, Trans Mountain included several letters from other Indigenous peoples in support of Coldwater’s position on the West Alternative.

Move along or I will pick you up, cryed the voice.

What a jerk, not even to sport a rolls royce,

Next time bring a keeper!

I will, the Grim Reeper, said the voice.

Back on the walk, no more talk, I go.

Death is a mean feat, only to defeat, I say.

I not playing and stopping, I am dogeing the blow

Life for me and my bones. still well fed.

Sun and shade still the tone, still no dread.

I am alive and you are dead!

Trans Mountain is available to assist in wildfire management in BC.

We have offered the use of our camp communities in Merritt and Clearwater for evacuees and are currently housing evacuees and firefighters working in the area in our Merritt facility. In Kamloops, work was stood down in Kenna Cartwright Park and Pineview Park areas as requested by the City of Kamloops, with team members helping to mitigate fire risk by wetting and cutting grass in areas under active construction for the Expansion Project. Trans Mountain also supported the Robson Valley Fire Service response efforts with a skidder and water tank after a fire ignited in the North Thompson region.

TGIF- Friday the 13th, lost its charm!

You do not have to be afraid of Friday the 13th, why? Because its lost its charm to the fear of the unknown and gained by the liberty of the experienced and the prowess of the wise. Superstition is done, cause and effect is 98 percent explained. That leaves 2 percent for me ( how to win the heart of a fair lady) can someone explain in 3 paragraphs or less. That would end all wondering about phenomena.

Sometimes known as date night Fridays must be excused from the 13th’s energy and success with the smarter gender still needs a real world reason; or not. Who can explain love? No sensei trying unless maybe a wise God has given us a scientific control. But that can’t be ,as love is not an experiment , it is a power.

However in the clinical sense they have terms: Love sick, , Love struck, Amour de la malade and any other that might fit symptoms of that funny feeling! If indeed the term lucky in love should retain its meaning then what? Well lets bar Friday the 13th by statute, as superstition!

Good luck to you and to blazes with superstition and bad luck: click below for playlist.

Hey! it’s those 2 lines around planet earth called the tropics where our imaginations have caused us to limit legitimate heat extremes existence. Well between them and the Equator the line in the sand has be drawn, or not?

We are having a heat wave a polar heat wave!

So June 12th 2021 I took 8 photos of a sun dog in the western sky about 40 degrees in the horizon and the dome of the sky. Hexagon ice crystal in the Sirius cloud space cause a 22 degree circle to dog the sun. That Ice was pushed from the artic when warm vortex winds pushed it down from the pole to us.

Summer Solstice.

Summer Solstice was nearing on the 12th and the 23 degree tip of the Northern Hemisphere toward the sun was coming into full, meaning that the sun was closes to are artic pole then it would be in the 2021 summer season. The heat was creating the vortex driving the artic air that gave us a cool spring in front of it, with the Sun Dog ice along for the ride.

50 degrees C June 26th 2021

Our temperature reading comes from Lytton BC and the 26th of June Lytton was the top of a heat dome that took the town out. The heated air from the sun with the earth at its greatest tip was up to bat after delivering the sun dog on the 12th.

Be ready next year.

Be ready for that time period next year, and watch for the winter solstice here as the tip of the sun will be at its most in Antarctica on .that the December 21st (circa).

To Burnaby and beyond.

The Trans Mountain expansion is scheduled to start its Nicola river crossing this month. { permits permitting).

*Activities may begin as early as August, pending all necessary permits and approvals.

Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) will be used to cross under the Nicola River. This work takes place in a phased approach beginning with the establishment of temporary work spaces on either side of the area being crossed. One site will house a drilling rig and associated equipment, and the other will serve as a staging site for the pipe and will include welding and pipe stringing. After the site is prepared the crossing will be drilled, and then pipe pulled back through. After the drilling phase is complete the site will be cleared and returned to its original use.

The expansion and redo of the 60 year old Trans Mountain oil line to Burnaby from Edmonton is employing nearly 10,000 people at this point. A great deal of national prestige and the sense that we as a people can do something and do it right is balanced on the outcome of this venture.
