There is an energy at work to get a classic car club running again in Merritt post flood/covid. Barry Jackson had a meeting with about 15 owners at the local A&W on May 15th,and posters for the first event were distributed.

Got time for recreation?

Participating in a recreational classic car club typically involves joining the club as a member. This may require filling out an application form and paying any associated membership fees. Once a member, you can participate in club meetings, events, and activities. Keep an eye out for announcements and communications from the club regarding upcoming gatherings or excursions. Additionally, you can contribute to the club’s activities by volunteering to help organize events, sharing your knowledge and expertise with other members, and showcasing your own classic car at club events. If the club has an online presence, such as a website or social media pages, you may also be able to stay updated on club news and connect with other enthusiasts. Joining a recreational classic car club can be a great way to meet fellow enthusiasts, share experiences, and enjoy the hobby to the fullest.

Monday holiday,in retrospect.

The world has seen empires go and come some have legacies that are useful some not so much. Today the legacy of Pax Britannia is remembered as noticeable that relative world peace was enjoyed by the world as the US civil war raged on. The struggle for peace and security is ongoing but starts wit your neighbor and your own heart and mind. My thought for you today is that you stay calm in the struggle for a life. That you find wisdom and strength knowing that yours is important and is the one that you can control and guard; watch your relationships and don’t engage in grudge or hate. Do not be deceived you most probably can change little outside yourself. In that knowledge remember others demands for your change is secondary. Peace to all you but first thanks for allowing mine as i allow yours.

UN crazy the world

This discourse or podcast is interesting and timely as mankind once again is considering intervention with nature as a remedy for climate matters. The notation of interdependancy between Krill and Krill eating whales strikes home.

The interdependency between krill and krill-eating whales is a crucial ecological relationship. Krill serves as a primary food source for many whale species, forming the cornerstone of their diet. In turn, krill populations are regulated by the feeding habits of these whales, creating a delicate balance in the marine ecosystem. This relationship has drawn attention due to its significance in understanding the broader impacts of climate change and human intervention in natural systems. The video we shared delves into this topic, providing valuable insights into the complexities of ecological interdependence.

We all need to contribute as much as humus is possible. Forgive me for the humour and excuse the leap from soils to whales however nutrients are returned to our lands regularly by fauna and those system developed over time and when we use technology to ramp up production oten something is destroyed or replaced with an ecological ticking timer in it.

The catch phrase “for my grandchildren sake” is trite in application because its often empty of real accountability and like all catch overused and under done. If in other words of commitment you used “for my grandfathers sake” you may find yourself in a better field of actionable pramatics.

Once again good luck. have a whale of a time.KDG

Interlude

Get up and stretch

Make it a habit, 13 times will do it…

Short interlude breaks are a great way to counteract the sedentary nature of many activities and improve circulation. By incorporating brief stretching or movement sessions, individuals can reduce stiffness, relieve muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being. These breaks also provide an opportunity to refresh the mind, increase focus, and prevent mental fatigue. Therefore, incorporating short interlude breaks into your routine can contribute to improved physical and mental health.
